Jennifer Shryock provides useful information about child
and dog safety. She presents specific information about dog and cat
behavior that is useful in identifying situations in which a child may
be at risk for their safety. During Jennifer's presentation she
provides pictorial examples of different animal postures. Jennifer is
able to provide an understanding of what these postures mean in
relation to child safety with dogs. Jennifer's ability to relate to her
audience with numerous examples is a unique talent. I would highly
recommend Jennifer as a speaker in any forum that has concerns about
dog, cat and child safety. The information Jennifer has to offer may
have significant value for children with disabilities and their
families as there is a growing trend to engage animals as pets for
children with disabilities.

Jen Shryock is an amazing woman with a truely
invaluable resource in her website Family Paws. Jen has joined Army
Wife Talk Radio as our pet behavior consultant. Through her segments
she provides important information about pets, namely pet safety. In a
military family pets have many more roles than "family pet" they are
the the listeners, security force, and "snuggler" when the
servicemember is away. Unfortunately, with the movement of our forces
some military pets face an uncertain or unstable life in the absence of
their owners or family. Jen has helped our listeners deal with all of
these issues and she has given pets a voice over the airwaves.
Congratulations for a wonderful website!
